About us
PSE was founded by former Newcastle United footballer Robbie Elliott and Academy Coach Doug Thoburn. Our aim is to give all young footballers a footballing experience to remember!
PSE is not only dedicated to organising soccer tournaments. We are also providing soccer coaching
and conditioning camps worldwide. We have received interest from Portugal, Sweden, America,
Doha and Korea and summer camps in Germany and Australia are already planned.
The usual football coaching provides just that, but where we differ is that Doug will provide a
professional level of coaching and Robbie will provide the speed, agility and co-ordination work. We
are providing the children with the same coaching that professional footballers receive.
Robbie is fully qualified, with a sports science degree along with 17 years experience as a professional. He
has also coached at the Newcastle United Academy for over 4 years and is currently gaining
experience under the current management at Newcastle United.
Doug has over 14 years experience in developing young footballers at grass roots level and 10 years experience in
developing young players at Newcastle United Youth Academy. Doug is a U.E.F.A.'B' licensed coach,
Academy Youth Coach Qualified and holds up to date 1st aid certificate, enhanced CRB checks and
child protection certificate.
