- You have a responsibility to encourage the players to play by the rules.
- Set an example – always show appreciation of good play by ALL young players from both your own club and the opposition.
- Focus on young players’ efforts and enjoyment rather than winning or losing.
- Accept losing and turn negative situations onto positive feedback, e.g. well done!
- Condemn bad language, rude behaviour and violence.
